Shades of Pain Tattoo wants your experience to be a great one.  Here are some rules and Tips to make sure things go smoothly.

  • Be 18!  No one gets tattooed without a valid ID.

  • Limit guests to no more than 2 friends.  Unless everyone is getting tattooed of course.

  • Be sure of what you want.  Tattoos are Permanent!

  • ***DOUBLE CHECK SPELLING***, no one wants a name spelled wrong.

  • Work with the artist, not every idea can become a tattoo, some need work.

  • Make sure it fits, too much too small can lead to poor healing or losing important features/details.

  • *** Important*** Read and follow aftercare!  The tattoo is your responsibility once it leaves the shop.  Take care of it!

  • Tell your artist if you have any health conditions or skin conditions that might affect the tattoo or aftercare.

  • Eat before the tattoo.

  • **Important** Verify details with Shades of Pain Tattoo before booking and placing a deposit because deposits CAN NOT be refunded. To help avoid stress and confusion here are some things to Check off BEFORE you book.

  • Consult with Shades of Pain Tattoo before scheduling tattoos.  Large tattoos and portraits cannot be done in 2 hours... Please verify how long your session will need to be.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late you will lose your deposit and have to reschedule with a new deposit.

  • Do NOT show up drunk!  Do NOT show up high! Your appointment will be cancelled and you will lose your deposit.

  • DO NOT arrive more than 5 minutes early.

  • Don't cancel last minute.  You will lose your deposit.  Give at least 48 hours to reschedule.

  • Have fun!

  1. DO NOT pick, itch, or rub a new tattoo.

  2. Follow One of the Two recommended aftercare methods below.

Aftercare

Artificial Skin / Second Skin

Allow skin to stay on your new tattoo for 5-14 days.  The skin will itch and peel off on its own… leaving the client with a bright new tattoo.

Disclaimer:

Tattoo aftercare is the Client/Customer's responsibility!

Shades of Pain Tattoo or any of its employees are not responsible or liable in any way once the client leaves the shop.

Please read aftercare instructions and contact your artist with any questions.
